Make sure you get the right poly bushings for the handlebars! I will post pics this weekend and show you the difference! I love em. 16 inch Apes for a 5'11' guy

I plan on getting apes I just don't know what size yet. I still need to do alot more reasearch to figure out what I want and where to get it.

I love the looks of the Apes though. I have a buddy that keeps telling me to go drag bars but when you are 6-4 you don't put drag bars on a WG, at least I don't see how that can be very confortable.

I put 14" nash gimp hangers w/ 1 inch risers on my build. Feels real comfortable and the 90 degree bends at the bottom makes them look longer. Can't wait for the first ride- hoping for next Wed.

Today mounted mine... gimp 14 riser 3.5.
I love it. Must have initially more attention to different way of handling.
the ape is not so rigid as the normal miniape, is more elastic.
But I think I will love ride with it.

Default Getting mine today

02 Super Glide, going with 14" Burley Apes an 2" risers. Advice from dealer putting the apes on..."Get the poly bushings!" Chose 14" after much thought, bought 12's and was sitting on the "fence" between that and 14's at the last minute before dropping the bike off, I went with 14's if you want to see a pic of the bars mounted on the bike at the dealer hit me up. I wish more pics like mine would have been posted before I made the move. It was a tough call. nathan@wcsign.com
