Default seat and backrest needed

My wifes 2002 Dyna SuperGlide has the stock seat on it. We do most of our riding on the hiway with long days. She rides solo 100% of the time. She was asking me what are the options for getting a backrest for her stock seat and my best answer I could come up with is to find a new solo seat and an attachable backrest.
Can I get some input on this folks so we can do something to make her riding a bit more comfortable? Ideas and options?

Default Mustang Wide Vintage

I am also in the market, The Mustang Wide Vintage Touring seat is the consensus favorite on forum. The opinions are that it is great for long hauls but looks a little odd due to its size.

Another option would be to buy a large Biker`s Friend and she could lean her back against it.

Sheesh good idea but I can't even talk her into travel saddle bags.

I've seen this and it is a good option even for as wide as the seat is.

I have had the Mustang wide vintage touring on two different bikes. Both seats were the 2Up not the single as you are looking for but I would have to think the comfort would be the same. I put the Mustang on a WG in 2003 and absolutely loved it, so much in fact that when I purchased another bike I immediately ordered another Mustang seat for it

Cant go wrong with a Mustang seat! So If you don't like the looks of the wide model just get the regular one.

For long distance rider comfort, a backrest is hard to beat.

I totally agree, I think it's going to be a mustang seat with backrest.

I have the mustang wide vintage solo seat with back rest on my 2005 FXD. I love it the back rest is adjustable and fits me perfectly in the small of my back. Works great on longer rides.
