Default air suspension on Dyna

I'm looking to put an air ride suspension set up on my 08 Street Bob. Does anyone know of any good brands? I'm being told that "Dirty Air" doesn't make kits for Dyna. However, I do know that "Legend" makes one but it is super expensive. Any info would help. Thanks!

I wonder if Dirty Air has even tried to put it on a Dyna. I thought I saw bagger shocks on a Dyna on here before.

You'll get mixed opinions about using bagger shocks on Dynas because the geometries of the two frames are different (this is why you can't use VROD shocks on a Dyna). Some guys have done it with apparent success, but might have to run the shock at a higher pressure. I wouldn't do it, but that's never stopped anyone before.

Legend is the only brand I know of, but I've heard good things.

I ran legends for about 60,000km before selling my 2010 Street bob a year ago

I Only ever had two issues and these were both electrical:
  • Power wire rubbed through and shorted on the frame - fixed with a new sheath
  • Power wire snapped at the connection at the battery terminal (Maybe from vibes but maybe from me jiggling wires trying to find the short).

I went with legends because they have a lifetime warranty, they come with everything needed for the install (especially the handlebar mounted switch) and I wanted to be able to slam the bike or ride an different ride heights.

The added bonus I got was that they rode like a dream. Will be running Legend Aero-A shocks on my next Dyna

IMHO you get what you pay for.

Is Dirty Air the same as Dirty Bird? If so I know I saw one of their kits was just the same parts as the DIY set up that is popular. Just made it convenient all together kind of thing.

I have the Legend system on mine. Really like it. It was easy to install, the ride is a huge improvement or you can slam it for looks.

They are not cheap. I think it was around $1600.00 and I installed them myself. I ride quite a bit and thought the improvement in the ride and the ability lower it for looks was worth it.

I went the DIY route which is basically a pieced together Dirty Air kit. It was under $200.
