Default My painter ground off my rear turn signal wire retainer!!

Back story is this. The painter was supposed to remove and patch the stock license plate bracket on my fender which he did and it looks *****. My Plate was relocated to an axle mount. He removed and patched the bracket like we agreed but when he did he didn't replace or weld the fastener back in for the turn signal retainer bracket. Lookin for ideas or opinions on what to do.

Take it back and have him fix it which sucks and he did it for next to nothing as a favor.

Epoxy or jb weld something there to fasten the bracket back on

Try adhesive mounting blocks

They Harley signal relocation kit for Dynas comes with wire retainers that stick onto the underside of the fender with 3M tape. Should be able to purchase one at the dealer for almost nothing.

Stick the wire in place with external silicone sealer.

I say go with the silicone also. I used this when I went with a larger tire as the wires could move around. That was over 15 years ago and it is still holding strong.

External silicone. Nothing special just the stuff from auto zone? Should I scuff the paint or just go right on it?
