RE: Superglide makeover
To this.
My next winter mod is to add a 95" kit and powder coat the motor and tranny I think.

RE: Superglide makeover
Thanks. The bike is a 1999 Superglide.
I changed out the front end with wide glide aftermarket trees, wide glide tubes and lower legs. The tank and fenders are from a 2001 FXDWG. The tank and front fender bolted right up but I had to buy rear fender strut covers for a wide glide to make the rear fender work. The superglide rear strut covers are not long enough for the extra hole that the FXDWG fender has for the license plate mount bracket.
I bought a cateye taillight and license plate mount. Had to buy a stock Fuel guage and sending unit, FXDWG speedo and moved the idiot lights, speedo, and the ignition to the dash. The wiring was simple. Just had to add some wire to get the ignition to reach the dash.
Changed out the riser and bars. Still lots to do before I'm done though
Here is a close up of the dash. The dash I picked up off ebay complete for $66 bucks. Moco wanted $600.00.
