Gauntlet fairing with flush headlight
Anyone successfull in mounting the headlamp forward to sit flush to the front of the fairing.
I found one photo of an RSD bike with such, google image "RSD gauntlet fairing". (can't load photos yet)
My thinking is it would need to be a hard mount, i'm assuming the movement of installing it with the quick release is the issue... maybe cut the interior buck on the fairing and install appropriate headlight mount?

I have the cafe fairing and just installed the DK custom modular headlight relocation bracket. My fairing is notched slightly on the bottom but looks like I'll have to cut a little more of it so it sits back all the way. Here's a pic I just took. The headlight will be more flush when I cut the fairing a little deeper. Looks way better than it being recessed in.

I'm looking to quickly fab a 2" bracket to push my headlight forward through my gauntlet fairing a bit further, did you have to notch the fairing to mount yours flush?
