Corbin Custom Design Seats

Yea, I'm a Corbin user since the 90s, but not after the last fiasco. IF you are close to them and are able to go directly to them and have them build and fit the seat while you are there, it's cool. If you need to have them build it and deliver . . good luck. It's a crap shoot. If you have an issue, good luck dealing with them and getting a quick fix. That is IF you can get them to respond. There is a reason they have terrible BBB ratings (or did last time I looked in both states where they have offices). NOT the same Corbin it was a long time ago.
That said, after the whole fiasco, I'm cool with the seat I ended up with.

Good thing I saw this thread...was very interested in the Hollywood solo...but I'm having second thoughts now regarding what's been said about the customer service.
Other choices besides Mustang? I liked their Vintage Solo Wide on my Sportster...but I want a seat that is not going to move me forward this time. Was thinking Tripper Solo Wide, but would I be better off with checking Le Pera?

I've had maybe 10 Corbin seats made but I live about 30 miles from the factory in Hollister.
I've had problems with half of the seats but I could get them fixed easily and they always do. On two they completely recovered the seats and they were pretty fancy leather.
I feel that a custom seat is not custom unless you have it fitted to you in person. With a Corbin even though the foam starts out very firm, and will break in to a certain extent, the key is the shaping so that you have a lot of contact and don't really develop hot spots like some seats
I have an appointment for a new seat in two weeks and look forward to it.
A well fitted seat absolutely changes how you feel in a bike.

Pic in my sig is my Corbin Wall.
Love this seat. The tall back holding you in place is really nice when putting down the power, and the wide base makes you feel really secure on rough roads.
I went in on a Friday at 8am, was out with my seat by 11:30, and couldn't be happier. This is my 3rd Corbin seat, my second custom fit, and won't be my last
