Default Noob question about exhaust for a 2016 Fat Bob

I know this is very often asked question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. I'm looking for the loudest, best sounding, full exhaust system for my Fat Bob. It's a 2016 and the stock pipes suck. I've watched countless youtube videos and they really don't do much justice for the sound. I'm also not a big fan of the look of the D&D Fat Cat but most of who I talk to claims its the best system for a Harley. I really love the look of the V&H Side Shots but they are not available for my year and they might discontinue the style from what I was told be V&H. That being said, I'm not looking for ear bleeding straight pipe sound but something along the lines of my neighbors will know it's me coming down the street at 6am.

Thanks the help!

Go with a nice 2 into 1 like a thunder header, v&h propipe or the aforementioned fatcat

Loudest/best sounding = have one custom made by professional shop.

Also, if you're going loud, time to invest in some hearing protection now. Trust me, you'll be paying later (pls. make the ringing stop!!!)...

Good advice right there!
If you don't know what Iceman is talking about, imagine a constant tone that you hear 24/7. It's at the same pitch as the beeping of a timex watch. It is so loud that you can't hear that watch unless you put it right up to your ear. When there is no other sound in the room, it sounds incredibly loud, like as if it's on the stereo and the volume is cranked!

This won't change the look but you might look into removing the baffles and putting in Thunder Torque Inserts.

loudest and best sounding are two completely different things... And usually are not found together.

Nearly anything exhaust related is give and take. But as far as great performance, loud, and good sound I'd go with a thunder header.. but like I said give and take, they'll scrape if you ride aggressively, the build quiality isnt a nice as other pipes, and IMO they're pretty ugly. Personally I run a Bassani road rage (many different options from Bassani) and I picked it because it had the Best look for a 2-1 IMO, produces pretty good power, and does sound much better than many other setups.

But IMO nearly any 2-1 pipe/ system will sound better, and its proven it'll perform better than 2-2. If you want loud keep the over all pipe and muffler portion of the pipe short.

If you're looking for what sounds best, forget about listening to videos. Get out in the real world and listen for yourself. Bike nights, dealership get togethers, etc. Asking a bunch of lunatics (sorry, members) what sounds best to us may be not what is good to you. It's like the age old question- Maryann or Ginger?
