Default Vee Twin Racing street ported heads

I talked to Kirby at Vee Twin Racing about doing some heads for me. We talk for an hour and because I cruse 95% of the time he said he would go with the street ported heads. I boxed them up and sent them to him. Got them on and put a throttle body I had bored by Max Bore that is now 50mm. so here is what I got.

2007 Dyne SB
Supertrapp 2-1 exhaust
SE air filter backing plate with Zippers max flow filter
103 kit standard compression
Andrews 57H cams
50mm throttle body with high flow injectors
Vee Twin Racing heads with 1.90 int and 1.61 ext valves
10.25 compression
Power Commander PCIII usb
Dyno guy did a base tune and then went to work. He started doing runs from 1200 rpm. Engine pulled from there. Made 90 TQ ar 2000 rpm. Kirby dose some good head work.

On the dyno for 3 1/2 hours
103 HP and 112TQ

This bike fly's!!!

Fantastic!

I got his Stage II heads and Fueling Cams, same exhaust and throttle body. I got 105hp and 100.3 Tq bike rides like a dream (But I really hope that the tuner's dyno was reading low lol!)

Enjoy your ride and be safe!

If it will quit raining I am going to ride it. Guy had computer trouble and was over an hour getting it working so it was late when I got home. As I was unloading it from trailer it started raining.

Quick question for you; what combination of end cap and number of discs are you running with this?

I have open end cap and 15 disk. Open end cap made more HP for sure. Guy that did my dyno has a 250I.

Thanks so much. I'm trying to scavenge a little more torque as well. I've been told that part of the problem could be the closed end cap and 20 discs that I'm running. I'm being goofy and chasing numbers

I have tried from 6 disk to 22 disk and 15 seems to work best for me. My brothers RK has a Fuel Moto 107 kit and heads. Has 55mm throttle body. Has Woods 777 cams and supermag. Open endcap like I hace and 18 disk. RK primary tubes are longer the on my exhaust. He did 115HP and 115TQ but has a lot more money in it than I do. He is on his second set of heads. He did not like the first set because of a power dip around 3000 rpm.

Those are some good numbers Arkstreetbob!! My tuner has forever been pushing me to do the same combo you have minus the larger throttle body. He's says it'd be a great street motor without breaking the bank.
