Default Fat bob front suspension choices

Hi all. Was riding the other day and noticed that I had a blown fork seal. Figuring that it would be a perfect time to upgrade the springs also, I went home and started doing a bit of internet research. Holy hel! there's alot of choices out there. Was originally thinking just a pair of progressive springs, but now I'm considering race tech springs and gold valves, ricor intiminators, or progressive monotubes. Anyone have any experience with these on a fat bob? I am a svelte 250lbs and only occasionally ride 2-up. Looking for something that will not feel like a sponge and reduce the massive brake dive I have now. Thanks in advance

Well, I don't have a solution for you, but am also interested in the answers and options. I have a 2014 Fat Bob and have a pair of Ricor Intimidators in the garage ready to go in but haven't made any decisions on springs or anything yet.

I am currently thinking about some form of straight rate springs and pre-load adjusters to go with the Intimidators.

Anyway...subscribed!

I'm tiny myself and a set of progressive springs made a big difference.

Sorry. NXS 30mm Ohlins cartridges. Compression, rebound, and spring pre-load adjustable, no comparison with anything else period. Many out there.

I'm about 265lbs and switched to Progressive HD drop in springs with 15w fork oil in my 14' Fatbob. Started out a bit stif but after a few 100 miles it broke in real nice. I like this setup a lot!

Thanks for the responses guys. Sounds like the HD progressive springs will accomplish what I'm looking for without going deep into the wallet. I am intrigued by the monotubes but they seem like they are newer for the fat bob and I cant find many reviews

Whats the price for that set up? I don't want a "stiffer" front end. Just a better handling one. I've come to realize the front forks on my FXDF are straight garbage but I'm just not willing to fork over the cash for a USD fork set up.
