High idle at slow roll-normal at full stop

Totally normal. This happens on both my bikes. NO idea why, but I have narrowed it down to one commonality. If I happen to start my bike while backing it out of a spot and then take off immediately without letting it sit for a few seconds, it will idle high whenever I come to a stop the first time.
ALSO...on my 04 WG, which was the first FI dyna, and not the same system as my newer FB...and I know this will sound crazy...but EVERY time I start it, it will idle high UNTIL I barely rock the bike...like put my foot on the peg and push on it a bit...then it calms down to normal. I determined that it has to do with the speed sensor. When sitting idling the vibrations cause the speedo to read a few MPH. If I rock it, it changes the reading from the speed sensor enough to make it realize that it's not moving, but sitting still.
There is some sort of programming in the ECU that makes the idle stay higher when it's rolling compared to when sitting still. I don't get it, but I've seen this for years on both my bikes.
