Your Dyna caliper and the stock road glide rotor?
I assume that all the different size front wheels have rotors that match up to the caliper since the fork legs are all the same regardless of the wheel size?
18 inch road glide wheel and stick rotors, it all lined right up, planning yo get the brembo dual call setup

Hoping it's not an issue. Didn't weld anything, just took off a little with the grinder. Seems like it won't be an issue

Is your rear fender a direct bolt on?

The 49mm 2014-later "Touring" Sliders are a direct swap with the Dyna. The fact that they are 1" shorter won't have an effect on ride height, but will/can affect other things such as fender mounting if someone was trying to re-use their Dyna fender or cowbell coverage

Most HD models (maybe "Street" also, but I don't count them) are now using 11.8" (300mm) front rotors...Dyna & Vrod in 2006, Touring in 2008, Sportster in 2014, and Softail in 2015. All but the Dyna made that change by using a "new" caliper to accommodate the larger rotor. The Dyna moved the caliper mounts on the sliders to make the move to 11.8" rotors and re-used the same previous caliper.

So...

Works great, but not so good when people put "Touring" Brembos on 2006-later Dyna Sliders. People do it, but it's not really "Right". They really need more of a 310mm rotor for that application...try to find a 310mm rotor that fits a harley hub without making an adapter

Yes, BA73...I've got plenty of sliders too

Multihdrdr, what is the difference in outside width between the Dyna 49mm slider and the touring 49mm slider at the very top of the slider? Will the 49mm cowbells slide over the Dyna sliders?

I think you're asking for the Outside diameter of the top of slider...I'm glad you said "Will the 49mm cowbells slide over the Dyna sliders?"

I don'thave any covers to try, but here's the Dims

~ .050" difference...

~ 2.700" 2014 + Touring
~ 2.750" Dyna

Thanks, maybe I'll try and find some cowbells for the 14+ touring bikes and see if there are any clearance issues when used with the stock Dyna lowers. If they clear maybe the extra work of changing lowers won't be a necessity and would eliminate the need of trying to close the gap that Mike started with leading to the need to raise the legs in the trees.
