Being to picky?

I'm lost. Where did that pissing match come from? And why the links to that awful hipster thread?
I'm a bagger. I don't know how anybody could survive in Wisconsin, without at least saddlebags. Weather is so variable, I need to carry my jacket and a few sets of gloves at least.
Last week morning temp was 42, afternoon 78.
I bought a cheap set of vinyl Wiile and Max saddlebags for my Vulcan 750, that I was just going to use for a season. They ended up working well for years, and I got lots of compliments for them. They were throwovers, that I installed under the seat, easy to remove, but I always left them on.

Actually was just my way of saying do or be what you want. If bags suit your need, use them. Some do look better then others but of course, Harley's bags probably cost 5 times as much as a aftermarket. If you want to be a hipster, be one. I do draw the line with a guy who says he's a girl today and want to share the restroom with my young granddaughter.
