Here’s a closer pic. The bike and pipe are currently dirty as of now but you can see the difference between a non polished vs polished stainless exhaust

I'd like to put a stainless pipe on my bike. But it gets very hot in summer where I live. And most stainless pipes either don't have heat shields or have only very small heat shields in sections of the pipe. How do these work for avoiding too much heat?

I know it’s chrome and a FLHTC but I just installed a Fuelmoto E Series and WOW! The performance is worth it...I didn’t do it for the looks because of being a bagger but it doesn’t look too bad.

Danmoto highwayman anyone? Full stainless system for $271. I’ve never seen one in person, but at that price I might give it a shot. Most stainless systems start around $800

Been toying with the idea of a SS Road Rage 3, but like others have mentioned, I'd be worried about burning your boots or body parts.

I've never burned myself with my RR3. Except once while checking oil hot. Occasionally my boot sole will leave a mark on the pipe down by the peg, but 10 seconds with fine steel wool on a hot pipe takes care of it. Or fine steel wool and a shot of WD40 on a cold pipe. Checking oil hot really isn't bad either, I just wear something like a Mechanix glove and it's fine.

with mids it’s hard to burn your boots. When I had my forwards on it was way too easy to burn my boot

If it follows the same lines as my Cobra El Diablo, shouldn't been an issue. Hopefully.
