Default 2012 Street Bob Electrical Issues and High Idle

Greetings Everyone,

My bike: 2012 Dyna Street Bob ~20,xxx miles, all OEM. Original Owner.

I'll keep this short. I ride everyday to work (< 10 miles each way) and have the intermittent VINERR issue so many of us have. Dealer has neglected to properly fix it yet (on going issue with them). Battery tender does seem to work though. Another issue they cannot figure out is why I keep blowing turn bulbs (4 in the last 12 months, 2 being new). Most recent turn signal blow out was a week ago and haven't got around to getting a new one yet (right front). The main issue I'm currently having, and why I've come to y'all, is that my engine started to randomly high idle 2 nights ago.

It now idles between 1400-1800 RPMs and obviously the check engine light comes on. It only starts to do it once the bike is warmed up, not while cold. Thus, everything is normal for about 5 minutes. Bike performs normally otherwise. I checked the diagnostics and these are the codes I got:

ECM
p0507 Idle Speed Too High (duh)
Pn 001117-01 ???

BCM
b1151 RHCM Turn Signal Bulb Out??
b2113 ??? ACC output shorted low
b2124 ??? Starter output overloaded
b2138 ??? low beam output shorted low
b2151 ??? left rear turn signal output open
b2156 Right Rear Turn Signal Output Open
b2173 ??? H2 output shorted low
b2271 ??? BCM voltage low
Pn 69992-12 ???

Can anyone help with these codes? I have searched around and have trouble finding what they mean for my specific bike. Also, I cannot find where to buy the electrical diagnostic manual for Dynas. Got the ??? codes from here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...ic-manual.html

I feel like all these issues might be related to my battery (still original). Think replacing it would solve most, if not all, of these issues? Or is a trip to the service dept in order? Finally, can I continue to ride with my bike high idling?

Thanks in advance!
-JC

Aggressively clean your grounds...all of them!
Scrape your positive battery terminal down to shiny lead and clean your tender terminals.
Cover both sets of terminals with dielectric grease and torque them down.
Clear codes and ride.
Trust me...I had the same problems and multiple codes and this fixed it.

After you clean your grounds apply some never-seeze to help keep corrosion away and it helps keep good contact.
A garage trick they use when installing gas tank grounds.

I suffered from the same thing for about a year. Including the turn signals blowing all the time. After taking it to 3 different dealerships and study in it and to find the problem. It was the result of a bad cell in the battery. I also before the battery went through and did all my connections And it still had the problem. So I would maybe give the battery to try take it in and tell them to load test the battery.
