How tall is that shield and how tall are your bars?
I have an 86 fxrd fairing that I'm going to be installing. It came with a 14" clearview recurve but I'm running 12" west coast Ts. Didn't know if they'll hit the shield or not.

Hard to say how these shields will work with the different aftermarket fairings on the Dynas. I have a BMC fairing and ordered an 11" Clearview with recurve and didn't have clearance. I run 9.5 pullback risers with Big Al's low bend drag bars... I would imagine that if I went back to T-bars it might be worse, depending on height of course. Couldn't run it, but I think it looked pretty good though, see below
Im runing a bmc fairing just got it fit up this weekend ad dropping it off to paint today, i met the owner mike and hes a great guy thats why i decided to go with his, if it was nt that it was going to be the jds option
What fairing is that? my JD Fabs should be shipping out soon. Looks like you have the Truck-lite headlight. Any issues fitting it with the headlight bucket?
Can you show pics of the new deviant bracket and how it installs? I understand they redesigned their bracket a few years ago, but the instructions on their site show the aluminum break prone bracket. When asked how the new bracket mounts they emailed me this...
lol thats just comical your serious they emailed you some drawing ?

I couldn't believe it either!!
Like this is an actual company with relatively good reviews on their products and this is what they're sending out? Also note that there is a start, in progress, but no finished step.
Also note the "how tight?"
