This thread is crickets haha! Mine’s done, painted and put together (I want to get it out somewhere scenic for some shots because I hate posting garage pics).

One thing I was not aware of before purchasing is that you lose some turning radius, correct? The fork tubes actually contact the center headlight/fairing mount before full lock. I want to make sure this is not somehow user error.

I don’t think it’s a huge loss when you’re actually riding, obviously you never cork your bars all the way to one side when riding road/freeway speeds, but it seems like you lose a lot of function for low speed parking maneuvering at a gas pump or backing into a spot etc. Just one of the cons to looking so fly?

If it is the correct mount you shouldn't lose any turning radius.

I have full turning both ways. I think the RWD site or YouTube said to trim some of the underside to have clearance for the forks to slide up and down, which I did, but it may have been for a different model fairing. I also did not have to trim for the headlight, I think that was in the YouTube video. Also I've been up to 104mph with no extra effort. I've only been able to ever get it up to about 103, 104 with nothing (windshield, bags, etc.)

Just out of curiosity, how is it lane splitting with this fairing?

I don’t know what your regular set-up is...but I run Defender bags and an engine guard. The fairing doesn’t stick out any further than the engine guard so it’s really not that big of a deal. I had no issues swapping from a T-sport fairing to FXRT

Picked up some V2H lower fairings last week. The only problem is they don’t come with any hardware. Can I get some close up shots of the mount points and hardware from you guys that run lowers? Thanks.

I second this. There’s not really info out there on this. I’ve done some searching myself.

Another quick question, what are your guy's opinions on Deviant Fabrication's stuff? I've heard both good and bad stuff about them. I remember reading somewhere that someone's fxrd fairing started cracking after some time.
