Default Need help! Trans side cover and clutch prob

So I replaced my transmission side cover and after I installed it I noticed my clutch was super loose, but I didn't do anything to my primary or clutch?

Did you back off the clutch adjustment to remove the cover?
Is the clutch cable engaged properly in the cover?

If you have a service manual, look at the cover removal section and trace your steps. Something obviously came loose during the swap. Just because it's a cover doesn't mean it's not holding something in-place.
