Default My LRS Mods...

Well, Now that Spring has sprung in the great white north I have buttoned up the mods on my 17 LRS. It was an awesome experience to do all the work myself.

This is the mod list: Forward control swap, 30T pulley, RSD Slant Stainless exhaust, Power Vision Tuner, 14" FMB Hellbent Narrow Monkey bars and required brake clutch line swap, DK Customs 587 Intake with discrete breather system and carbon Fibre look cover, Clearview Shields Windshield (for cold/wet days or long highway trips), Mustang Vintage Solo, rigid solo rack, and smoked light covers.

There is a link to a sound clip on the bottom of this post. (The RSD Slant wasn't my first choice but it was found at my local dealership on the clearance parts pile for a lowly $300 Canadian. I was liking the stainless look so thought I would give it a try.)

Nice look. The exhaust looks mean and for that price why not.

Thats a bloody cheap pipe!

Have you considered shortening the two hoses on your Dk breather an inch or two to hide the 'T' behind your intake and make it even more "Discreet"?

I will definitely look into that. And I'll try and find some black clamps.

did you cover the throttle by wire box when you changed the filter?

Any performance gain/loss noticed with the change?

Thinking of going the same way, hate the heavy breather look.

Looking good man! Always a relief to my eyes when that "Joe Dirt Ae" of an air cleaner goes bye bye.

No, I did not cover the box

I can't comment on the change in performance resulting from the intake as all the mods were completed at the same time and made a dramatic impact.
