Thanks. I really like the standard tommy gun exhaust visually even though some don't, and I think I'd like to stick with black. I'd like the performance of a RRIII, but, its only available in stainless steel. Thats a great pic of your bike, and the stainless is growing on me ..... but I think I'd like to get black.

I dragged my standard pegs a fair bit after getting the bike new. I then changed to HD Starburst, which I dragged even more because the striker thing was longer than standard. So, I unscrewed them, and now have no strikers and haven't dragged the pegs since.

But ...... now I drag the exhaust :-/

So, I am now looking for an exhaust that doesn't scrape. Has anyone scrapped a Bassani Road Rage, or Road Rage II ?

I have the road rage 2, with forward controls, only scraped it once going super hard around a round-about. The little bit of metal sticking out of the footpeg is my warning - if that hits, i'm close to hitting the exhaust...
Suspension is set up as per the manual.

Read thru some but not all 48 pages.
Has anyone converted the new low rider s to forward controls?
Looks like it would need a new tab on the frame and some custom controls....

Nah, standard dyna forward controls should bolt right up, if you really wanted them. I know for a fact I've seen LR-S's with them. I came from a bike with forwards to a low rider with the further forward mids and I actually prefer the mids, even at 6'3"...YMMV

I've also seen LRS with forwards. I would assume wideglide stuff?

Dropped off the bike for some motor mods. Some 11:1 pistons and s&s 625 cams, light head work and porting of the throttle body as well as dyno tuning. Being assured it'll be a good setup. Dyno sheet and reviews to come later this week. Motor just broken in so time for disassembly.

I've the Bassani Road Rage I and it's impossible to scrape it......perhaps.

There is a big difference with the others mufflers, like RSD or similar....

That is my pic above. I test rode the bike with the stock controls and had the forward controls put on before I took delivery. It took me all of about 2 seconds to get used to them and I really love them (6'3" 34" inseam) the bike still handles the corners great but allows me to stretch out more which helps me put more miles on it...plus I don't feel like an ape on a tricycle. Just my two cents but they are all harley stock dyna parts and bolted right up and look clean

Default Dyno tune/ 1K maint on my LRS

Tried to post the sheet a couple of days ago but it went astray. Would have been my fifth post so might be in hands of moderator due to the image. Anyway - totally stock except for 117 kit and street tuner - 103HP 116TQ.
