Default 2014+ Low Rider Battery Covers

I'm not a big fan of the stock battery cover and am looking for some ideas/options. I don't want to go with a bag, just a better looking cover without the Low Rider letters.

Subscribed. I was out in the shed the other day looking at bike wishing I was riding and had that exact thought.

Take your wife's hair dryer and warm that thing up. Peels right off, leaving a nice chrome cover.

I did not like the stock cover on my 08 fxdc either. Took crappy band off and it left holes, thought about filling em in when repainting, but that still left the indention running the length of cover. Got to looking at CVO models and they follow the lines of the bike much better. To me they look like the electrical box cover only larger and with no bolt holes. Keep an eye out on EBAY and they come up every now and then. I have managed to come up with a couple for both my Dynas. When hell finally freezes and I get done with changing things plan on painting them to match whatever paint scheme I settle on.

I stopped by the dealer on the way home for some ideas. I'm thinking about the black painted covers from the Street Bob with some chrome trim on the battery cover.

Option B is JefFLH's idea with a Black trim band to break it up.
