Default front turn signal relocation bolt safe?

I want to relocate the front turn signals using the kit that replaces the fork pinch bolts - the kit I'm looking a uses a stainless bolt - is a stainless steel bolt going to be strong enough to torque to correct specification ?

Gib,

The tourqe spec is like 35 ft-lbs. I was surprised when I did my turn sign relocation as well.

But like Joe said, an SS bolt has no problem with doing that job.

I've had that kit on my WG for 12 years. No problems at all except some vibration at the signal housing due to the long thin bracket. Nothing to worry about but it does kinda catch my eye going down the highway.

One of my friends had them on his bike for 2 seasons with zero issues. He just recently removed them because he runs a fairing now and he couldn't use them together(clearance issues) So their up for grabs on the cheap!

I installed the Harley relocation kit Christmas on my Wide Glide, which turned out to be an interesting day and half! What should of been a simple plug black wire to black, blue to blue, and violet to violet was hindered by whoever wired the new turn signal internals at the factory. Long story short, I ended up with blue to violet and violet to blue.
