Default What is your favorite style rear fender

It seems that folks with full rear fenders are bobbing them and folks with bobbed fenders are searching for full fender replacements. Then I guess there are those that like the Wide Glide duck tail fender the best.

For me, I bobbed the full rear fender on my 2007 FXDL to a Street Bob Style but didn't use the big ugly factory SB tail light but rather the smaller original vintage style tail lamp. looks best to me with a solo seat configuration. Just never liked the duck tail fender style much for some reason.

I have the full rear fender but wish I had the Duck tail. I think it's a more stylish look. I don't feel that the full fender performs well either. When I ride on wet roads my back tire throws a huge rooster tail in the air. It's bad enough that it soaked my tour bag and my stuff inside got wet from the bottom up.

I love the bobbed fender (after they quit putting the wonky tail lights on them) and for a while considered swapping my full one out, but my full fender has grown on me. A smoked low profile tail light will clean it up just fine.

Ducktail for me too. Like Firewoman said it is more stylish, IMO

Bobtail has grown on me, chopped looks good on some bikes, but full fender is my preference.

Do to my mods extending to putting some hard bags on my bike, I opted to modify a Klockwerks stretched dresser fender to help with the flow. I like long fenders, chopped fenders and stock full fenders, the only fender I don't like is the bob tail fender.
