I've been thinking about how much work it'll take to get a Super Glide fender, fill in the brake light hole, and continue to use my stock bullet run, stop, turn sigs. I think it would look smooth like that. The stock Street Bob fender is nice, but I feel HD has it sitting a little too high off the tire. Maybe having the fender dropped and an inch or two would help.
I have the full rear fender but wish I had the Duck tail. I think it's a more stylish look. I don't feel that the full fender performs well either. When I ride on wet roads my back tire throws a huge rooster tail in the air. It's bad enough that it soaked my tour bag and my stuff inside got wet from the bottom up.
Ditto on the duck-tail - I like the look. Maybe one day I'll see if I can find an FXDF fender that could fit on my FXDL. In fact, I could have gone with a fat bob if it had a mid control option.
I like the full fender from the switchback. I just love the flow of the body lines of this fender. it helps that I have a 2" tanklift to help out with the body lines. Jackyl
I like this one, guess because it's mine and it seems to fit, lol.
