These appear to be 'one-piece' covers, and if so, I believe there are only two ways to go about the install. If keeping the stock p-rods, then partial disassembly of the top end is needed to remove the p-rods and p-rod tubes before you can swap the lifter covers. Or, you can loosen the p-rod tubes, cut the p-rods with bolt cutters, replace the lifter covers, install new adjustable p-rods with your OEM p-rod tubes. Either way you go, it's going to involve some work and a service manual - definitely not 'plug-n-play.'

Thank you very much for the quick answer

i'm better with this cover then
http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...-04-1827806--1

less work for now, since the bike is new / 2016
will wait when P-rod work will be needed in the future

my reason to change them was, the moco have installed a damage block, done by a hammer or something else at the install., its made in allow or soft metal. don't fell like going to dealer an complain just for this. QC problem i guess lol

I would complain for sure. Have them replace it to keep you happy.
