Motorcycle Jacks

definitely a J&S or a pitbull jack.
I have a Harbor freight jack that I bought and it worked great with another bike but had to modify it to work with my street bob like in this thread ( https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ification.html ) and frankly its still wobbly and I'm pretty nervous putting my bike up on it.

Another vote for the J&S. It works perfect on Dynas with no mods needed to the Jack. Easy one person operation as it lifts the bike right off the side stand and lowers it perfectly back on the side stand. I slide the Jack under and just start pumping the peddle with no worries about steadying or holding the bike when raising/lowering. Bike is rock solid on the stand with no straps. You can go less expensive and get something that will get the job done but for peace of mind I'd take the J&S all day

The wood is on top of the jack stands used as shims.
The high lift has two pin locking holes and I ft the jack stands as a shim as there is limited adjustment between the stops of the jacks and the pin hole stop.
They are not required.
The legs do not fold. The straps wrap around the frame.
I have the weight resting good and bike feels steady and handles the wrenching.
I'm happy with the lift,
Lift either side.
