No, you can read. I can put these into wideglide fork tubes and use V-Rod sliders for dual calipers.

I am not going to modify these cartridges to install these into a set of standard Dyna 815mm (think FatBob, SG, Street Bob et al.) The reason is because modifications costs money. With that added costs this unit will be only a few hundred less than a NIX 30mm fully adjustable Ohlins cartridge I am already doing for years. A 22mm piston can not work as well as a 30mm piston on a heavy bike such as a FX and no comparison in the ride, those are the facts. Due to the drop in way they have to be done the stroke is non adjustable and the unit uses the stock top out spring. This spring only compresses 5/8". The NIX uses an entirely different system where I can use the top out spring that is 2" long and my own value unlike the "Valve Spring" found in the HD's. The rebound of the NIX30mm is a much smoother/better stroke than the OEM valve spring going into the hole. Stroke is up to 6 3/4" and adjustable as is the fork length (depending on fork tubes). Both cartridge kits can be re-valved and the 22mm WG Dyna model uses the same fork springs as the NIX 30mm. A wide selection.

No fork cartridge release. Wishful thinking on my part.

Has anyone heard any news from Ohlins. Really pisses me off that a company that makes quality products like them can say their release is in August and then never give any update.

Two weeks ago I called with the Öhlins guys from the Ohlins european development center at the Nürburgring /Germany.
They told me that the decision , if they will develope a cartridge for 06 up Dynas , will come end of 2016.
In the moment a cartridge for 49mm Harley forks is not planed.
Please excuse my poor english I am from Germany.

I am confused, I thought they came out with a new NIX22 a month or two ago for later year Dynas, but unfortunately, just for the longer fork FXDWG

That kit is for the wide glide (+2 on the tubes). AT this point, there is still no direct replacement for standard length 49mm front ends.

That's what I thought.

If Grenadier is correct then we won't see anything from Ohlins until sometime in 2017. In which case, I think it is time for me to buy a set of emulators.
