They will be available for the 49mm fork.

Will this kit from the MoCo offer better performance than Ricor emulators?

Depends. If you are an average 185lb rider, maybe. However I am not, and I pulled it out of my FXDLS in favor of Racetech springs for my weight and their emulators (similar to the Ricor). The Racetech stuff blows the HD cartridge away. Probably due mostly to the correct spring rate, but the emulators are excellent too.
I'll eventually go to the Ohlins carts (if they ever arrive, and are as good as we're hoping) though.

Or
I have been manufacturing and valving NIX30mm Ohlins cartridges for around (I can't remember how long) but when they were introduced & I for put them in Dynas with the 49mm forks. These 30mm piston cartridges will well out perform any 20mm, 22mm as well as the Ohlins 25mm fully adjustable cartridges that Ohlins use to make that were replaced by the NIX 30mm. I have them in my own bikes (2 of them) and use them in FLT's as well (one of them).
Benefits of 22mm cartridges (All need to purchase springs separately):
Benefits of 22mm cartridges (All need to purchase springs separately):
- Will be cheaper than the 30mm.
- Fork tubes and cartridges need no modifications.
- Are full adjustable, compression, rebound, and spring pre-load.
- Can be re-Valved by someone who knows what they are doing.
- They will be the second best option for Harley's.
- Cartridges should cost $300 more (all come without springs & you have to buy them) if all of the rumors are true on base price.
- Fork tubes and cartridges need modifications to make them work.
- When making the fork tubes without a check valve (that are already in them from HD) I have the ability to make the stroke up to 7" long and with the Ohlins piston and holder design, can change the top out spring length and value. This allows for a very smooth top out stroke going into the dips or pot holes. With this design I can also make the rebound any length I want within reason. There are definitely advantages to having a full, adjustable stroke.
- Are full adjustable, compression, rebound, and spring pre-load.
- Already have all of the spring rates easily available.
- They already are the best option for Harley's.

Howard - I checked out your website - why have one type of cartridge in one fork and another type of cartridge in the other fork? Is that how sport bikes do it? Are you talking about the same cartridges that Ohlins USA is about to release? Your website talks about fork modifications, the Ohlins are not more or less 'drop-in'? What is the price on two cartridges (one bike set), I didn't see that on your website.
