If you get the right kit it will fit your street bob with a stock caliper. They have three different versions of this kit. One for 2000-2005 Dyna's, one for 2006-current spoke rims, and one for 2006-current mag rims. Hit me up, I can save you some cash on this for sure.

Also, if you have a 2014 or newer lowrider with dual disc they make both sides.

Thanks.
My error was to trust Ness.

On Ness shop page you have two versions.
-SKU: 02-965 Hub mounted 2000 & up Dyna/Softail.
-SKU: 02-964 Spoke mounted 2006 & up Dyna.
The indication give by Ness for the hub version is false.
At this day, there is no official version of hub mounted for Dyna/Softail 2007 & up.
Davdoodles give the proof higher.

I'm glad i found this thread because i was about to order the ness kit in a couple of months. I think it's cheap and looks very good.

I'm getting mag wheels this winter for my 2014 FXDB and told myself why not upgrade the front brake while the wheels are off the bike, plus i need to change the rotor anyway when you go from a spoked wheel to a mag wheel. I think i'll just wait, save money then do a dual disc conversion. (the wheels i'm getting are dual disc compatible)

Awesome, I'd love to see it when done.

Have they released part number differences for the 2006-current spoke rim models?

I spoke to ness earlier, the way they have titled the rotors is misleading. The "spoke" part number is actually for mag wheels. What they mean by "spoke" mount is that it mounts further out on the spoke. I deal with Ness daily and this is merely the way that they see it. So if you have a spoke wheel like a Street Bob you order Hub mounted but the part number you listed is still wrong. Not all the part numbers are on their page.

02-964 is 06+ Dynas with MAG wheels left side
02-968 is 06+ Dynas with MAG wheels right side
02-965 is 2000-2005 MAG left side
02-967 is 2000-2005 SPOKE wheel

The way they label this is quite confusing but if you guys need help I think I know what fits what. And yes, I can get you discounted pricing. I can do $250 on these.

02-968 is 06+ Dynas with MAG wheels right side
02-965 is 2000-2005 SPOKE left side
02-967 is 2000-2005 SPOKE wheel

That above is for a spoke wheel or "hub mount" rotor. That rotor should fit the spoke wheel.

So does this means they don't make a kit for my 14 SB, as I don't see a 06+ spoke wheel option?

You need 02-972 left side
If you have a dual disc 02-973 for the right side

These are 06+

"Hum, explain us, after some thousand miles, what's append when the untrimed parts of pads joined when you brake ?"

I inspect my brakes regularly and would change my brake pads well-before that event occurred.

But, let's imagine I ignore my brakes for many thousands of miles, and then those two thin pieces of brittle brake pad material did finally meet end-on-end under the enormous pressure applied by my caliper.

I'd guess they would crush together and break off harmlessly in small pieces over time, and would not interfere with braking function at all.

I understand your modification is minor and is probably safe, but, as a general rule modifying brake pads is not safe and I do not recommend it.

I also don't recommend my solution of using brake pads un-modified as a permanent solution to the 'incorrect bracket' issue. That said, it is a safe stop-gap measure.

What I recommend is getting the newly-released '06- Dyna bracket from Ness: Part # 02-972
