Default Single headlight for fat bob

I was wanting to buy a single headlight for my 2010 fat Bob. Was wondering if a fat boy headlight would work and if so what year model or even if it matters what year model. Looking for a 7" preferably. Have any of you fat Bob owners done this?

Did this on my street bob not long ago. The main difference will be the wiring end. Still fairly easy, just many ways to go about it.

Also I tried 2 different mounting blocks, but ended up making my own to get the placement I was looking for.

I put a 2004 Fat Boy head lamp on my 2009 Superglide,, No Problem.
It fit the existing mounting block just fine.
I looked at Ronnies parts and your block is different because of the duely, but the FXD's simple block mounts the same,, a single bolt under the lower tree.
Just find the parts it'll work,, as long as you listen to Ironcleveland;

Fat boy should work no problem. Make your life easy and get a headlamp assembly with wiring harness intact....plug and play.
