One thing to watch out for too is the actual length of the grip section. The bars could be narrow but if they don't allow the grips to slide all the way on then they become wider. This happened on my last set I installed and I was disappointed because the 29" bars became 31" after I put them all together.

Width is a preference thing, I'm 6'7" and broad shouldered and I've found 33-35 inches and 16 inch height to be my sweet spot.

My R1200GSA has 38.5 inch bars and lane splits easy because the bars are high as well.

For me ease when Lane splitting is a height thing more than a width thing.

Hi guys! In the end, I went with 11" straight risers + 28" drag bars...it's been good so far! It does take a little getting used to, but splitting lanes is so easy now! Thank you for all your opinions on the subject.

What are those bars? I've been looking for something like that.

Thanx Paco I'll look into them. They look good on your scoot. I'll see how they do on my WG.
