Not a comparison or what's best, just a measurement question Please. Obviously with the football oval stock air cleaner its big and rubs the inner part of your leg while on the highway pegs or mids. I'm curious if those that have any of the above mentioned if they stick out further then the stock or sit closer to the motor? I'm short so when on the pegs the inside of my knee rests on the football, uncomfortable and becomes painful after awhile due to an old injury. Just checking on the winter projects. Thanks.
i HAVE HEARD THE dK CUSTOMS 587 SITS ALOT CLOSER AND DOESNT NOT INTERFERE WITH YOUR LEG....I'm thinking of getting one...sry for the all caps, im working in a prog that requires it.

Had that issue with stock hitting my leg, and went with the DK Customs AC. End of problem.
Thanx for the replies....going to look into the DK 587. I like the idea of the Bobber style cover, hopefully that'll be a bit tighter to the engine then the football.
