Default Oil Light

New to my 01 DWG and here. Oil light is on even though It has oil. Rode about ten miles and it stayed on. External gauge says 25 lbs. Any ideas for a FNG?

On the right forward side of the engine just next to oil filter you will see a sending unit with one wire hooked to the end of it(or should be). If the wire is hooked up, replace the sending unit (switch) it is supposed to light the light below 5 psi. and turn it off above that pressure

First disconnect the wire and see if the light goes out...

If it goes out when disconnected, replace the sending unit.

If the light stays on when disconnected, the problem is the wire is chafing somewhere, completing the circuit.
