So you think my tubes are longer than normal or you think there's a longer spacee inside where the spring is. Like he just jacked up the inside with bigger spacers. I was thinking about getting the drop in front fork lowering kit.

I'd bet they are longer too. Probably from a wide glide.

Yeah from what I have been reading they sound like wide glide. Maybe I'll shoot there and talk to him about it. Thanks y'all

Straight up trade shocks for tubes would be fair IMO

Contacted previous owner. He put in longer springs to raise the front end. It is a stock street Bob front end. Thanks for all the info.

OP-I have a set of stock Street Bob shocks. They are new take offs.

PM me your address and I'll send them to you. No $ needed just pay it forward when you have an opportunity.

Thank you I appreciate it. I'm just going to get lowering springs this winter. No point in taking yours when I'm just going to be lowering it anyway.

I didn't realize this was possible. I suppose there's a way to modify the internals to let them extend further?

I actually like the longer front end look, but I bought +2" fork tubes (stock length for a Wide Glide) and installed those. I wish I would have gone +4".

Stock rake, +2" forks, 12" rear shocks.
