I painted the battery cover then I found the battery bag. So it's currently black. And I can send you those shocks for cheap there's a scrape on the inside of the cover that I didn't see because they spun the scrape into the fender. I adjusted the shocks it spun and I saw it.

I absolutely hate chrome. This winter I'm stripping all the chrome parts off the bike and powder coating everything I can.

Yep, they are def long. My fxdf is 5" to bottom tree and 16" from slider to top of top tree.

Mines 17 1/2 to top of tree. I'm deff lowering the front asap. I knew it looked weird. Thank you guys for all your help. I know street bikes but I don't know Harley's. Appreciate it.

So when I lower the front it will bring the tire closer to the frame, correct?

It'll ride better once you get some proper tubes, should be able to find some stock take offs from a street or fat Bob on eBay pretty easy. If you want to improve further, when you replace your rears go with 12.6" or 13".
