Rim Strips Help?

Just ordered some new laced rims for my Dyna. 21x3.25 front and 18x5.5 rear. Can anyone tell me what widths I need when ordering rim strips for them? Is it the same as the widths of the rims (3.25 and 5.5) or narrower? Thanks for any input!

just order it for a 21 inch it's just a rubber strip that covers the spoke nipples
