Default Extending wire on 2010 Wide Glide

Hey All,

Just got my Magnum cable 14" kit in. I started pulling the bike apart and have a question about the control wires. My extensions have a male adapter on one end and female adapter on the other. it looks as if they are designed to have pins pulled out and extensions plugged in. If so, where is the main wire harness the the moles adapter is attached to?

I started to remove the tank but the backbone is boxed in. do I just keep pulling them out through the hole in the frame?

Unbolt tank, slide it back as much as you can. Look under the holes in the frame. There is a plastic cover that has tabs on each side, remove that cover and you should be able to work out the rest of the wiring out of the holes. Mine were pretty knotted up the first time I pulled out the wiring. And yes there should be connectors in there for the handle bar wiring to plug into.

Well this is fun. Getting the ends out of the Molex always sucks but I have a good pin removal tool.

Oh wow! It looks like the connectors were cut off and wires soldered on.
