Default Lucky Daves San Diego bars.... Review

Ok... so....

Lucky daves sandiego bars. I purchased 14s and they are powder coated black

I'm 6'4 and previously on my 08 street bob and my 15 bob I was rocking 12s. One was a riser set up and the other was straight t bars.

So I just wanted to throw this out there because I have not really heard of these bars on the forum

He is a local guy out of vista ca. Met me at his shop to sell a set of bars

I would say his customer service is right on point, Threw me a Gatorade, let me sit on a bike to get the feel of the bars before purchase

Overall. Cool dood. seemed like a good amount of knowledge as he knows, what seemed like, all the local guys putting out parts. Also who's stuff is good and who's is not

Hope to get a ride in with his crew soon. Seemed like a straight up kinda guy

........ And enough about the dood. How about his product

Narrow mx bars are what I wanted as I was looking at slingshots and other brands. When looking at most manufactures the bars (I feel) are way to wide, wrong wrist angle, ugly welds or bad powder coat

All I can say is these bars are the business.

Specs: (mine)
1.25 o.d
28" wide
Internal wired
Powder coated black
Larger riser base for support
Very nice stacked welds
Offset internal holes for wiring ease
De burred
Pull back + slight downward angle
Nice narrow M shape to the top bar

I think the bar is very smooth looking. It is well proportioned when looking at the bike parked

I previously had wrist/elbow/back pain while riding. Once I mounted up these bars and sat on bike I knew they were right

It was rainy as hell today but I still went out for a ride and the test ride feels great. No pain and actually made me feel excitement to ride as they are super responsive. I didn't want to come back home

It's been a long time since I was actually excited about a part because I have gone through a lot of parts. These bars take the cake. If you have not looked him up

Here are a few pics. I threw them on and snapped pics and I know.... Adjust your levers.... It was quick install today

I'm also going to get some pics when I internally wire these bars and a long ride review.

Will be waiting. Looked at these along with some others. Gotta decide between the 12 or 14 rise...

I always was torn between 12 and 14 heights. I'm glad I was talked into 14s.

They don't look to tall n my opinion. They put me in perfect riding position

All year Cali has a drought until I get a good part.

Hope to get them internally wired this weekend

No cable swaps, right? Is that a Conely fairing, too?

No cable swaps on my street bob. Also I think I can just unplug the micro plugs and run the plugs and cables through the bars

Yes, that's who made the fairing

I am getting bung king brackets to bring the fairing closer to the forks

Yeah, I feel like standard T-bars appear a little taller than the MX's without the dip in the crossbar. Those look just right at 14".
