Is it worth decatting the converter 2010 Fat Bob
Is it worth decatting the converter 2010 Fat Bob As long as I'm getting new 48 Andrew's cams installed is it worth cutting out the catalytic converter out of the stock head pipe performance wise. Common sense says yes but the main issue is I don't want to lose any bottom end power. I like the look of the stock Fat Bob pipe & want to keep it. I running 2" slip-ons & heavy breather air cleaner now with the stock set-up. I will also be adding a Power Vision tunner.
Would it be wise to install a 30 tooth at the same time? I love bottom to mid range power.
How much is a fair price from an independent for installing cams. I'm providing all the parts.
Thanks guys.

If you change the exhaust flow significantly you should change the air intake flow as well. That will change the fuel-air mixture too so maybe you need to tune that.
Unless you hate the way it is running and you want to get more power and to spend more money I would leave it alone. You know the old saying - it it aint broke....
