i've been in this dilemma lately and finally bit the bullet last night and ordered a polished set.
for what its worth, these thrashin pipes are actually produced in the Bassani factory in So Cal and is tested and proven by all these IG wheelie superstars. not sure if your familiar with X games but Lance Coury one of the founders really backs his product.
each to their own though, maybe ill do a review comparisson to TH

I have the thrashin pipe. It's been discussed on here before, in detail.
It's a good pipe with tons of ground clearance. Comparing to a D&D Fatcat or others low long pipes is not a correct comparison. It's a pipe designed for the most ground clearance possible, and built in stainless to preclude corrosion and coating issues.
It's not a pipe for dyno numbers or bling bikes.

Basically a bassani 1d5250 (primary tube design at least) in stainless. Won't make good power just like the bassani. If you're paying that kinda money for a pipe get one with room to grow, unless you're staying with a stage 1 forever and just want the look.
