I really like that color on the SB. I would prefer the older bold stocky badge over the graphic, but all in all a great look on the bike!

1999 Dyna Low Rider
I bought my bike new through the Army AirForce Exchange Service (AAFES) while on active duty stationed in Germany. I wanted a Wide Glide but you take what they get in or you wait till the next shipment, whenever that is. So I took the 99 Low Rider and proceeded to modify, modify, modify. The original paint was the stock cobalt blue. Which under certain light conditions looked purple which wasn't my thing. So the first winter there I took the tank and fenders to a German paint shop and for 1200DM (about $600) had it painted black. I wanted flames on the tank but didn't really want something too stark different from the black, like yellow or orange. So the paint shop dude brought out this jar of iridescent blue looking paint that looks anywhere from blue to purple to orange depending on the light. I thought that would be the ticket and loved the results. The paint has been on there for 15 years and I still dig it.
