Love the Bob the most, sinceHonda Cub (1st bike - 39 years ago).
Especially like: power, comfort, handling, price, build quality,..
Dislike: key fob alarm
Will add: bags, pillion, rack, backrest-seat, highway pegs, small windscreen. Like opportunity to not pay for HD to pick these for me, like on the Low Rider or Custom- I can pick what I want.
Overall best value, with Superglide, in all of motrocycling...
Used for commuting and long distance solo touring.

Battery box band.
Grips.
License plate bracket.

Although I have made numerous changes to make the bike better for me, those were the three things that Harley should have scrapped from the get-go.

I bought an 06 SB last March. It was my first harley even though i have ridden them before. I absolutely love my bike. i had the stock seat on most of last year. I bought a tall boy seat and hated it. now i have a stock low rider seat and havent taken it off. i have forward controls i would reccomend them to anyone that is 5' 10" or taller. i put cycle shack exhaust tips on and it sounds fine. could be louder but having trouble finding pipes i like. absolutely no complaints from me about my Bob.(9,000 miles later)

I hate that it's not as good looking as the Custom.

1. needs more black, less chrome & stainless (working on it)
2. should come from the factory with forwards (fixed)
3. needs 2 inch taller apes or risers & in black(thinking of fixing it)
4. stock license plate holder is fugly (fixed)
5. pipes too quiet, but all stock Harleys now are (fixed)
6. battery band (thinking of fixes)
7. should come with passenger pegs (working on fixing this)
8. Rocker box covers should be wrinkle black
9. Fender struts should be black
10. signals are too big
11. did I mention more BLACK?
12. 200mm rear tire
13. black laced wheels with option of black aluminum wheels
14. lower profilesolo seat with real leather
15. integrated tach and speedo

I guess I could go on but that is what personalization is all about.

I hated the reflectors so they're in the trash...I didn't care for the air cleaner cover...It's also in the trash...stock seat...You guessed it...still need to loose the tank badges and buy a couple cans of flat black spray paint...Bobbers need to be stripped down it if doesn't make it faster you don't need it....

Key falls out when you turn the bike off like when you get gas. Need a new setup.

When I turn the key off - I just turn it a bit further toward the fork lock position and it stays in. BUT - it is a stupid design and location. If Williehad to ride one it wouldn't have made out like that. You can't put the key on a regular ring eitheror it will beat the crap out of the paint around the lock.
It didn't have a tach but I made a bracket to fit it between the speedo and the handlebar clamp - just clears everything.
I got a lot of wind buffeting at first, but after adding the compact clamp-on windshield, raised the tank 1 3/4", and made a filler plate to completely fill the area between the fork tubes behind the headlight, the buffeting is way less to deal with. The filler plate made the most difference and you can't see it unless I point it out. Maybe I should go into business and get rich off selling them.
When I saw it on the dealer's floor the first time it was THE bike. I bought it because I like about everything as it was new - with a few changes per above. The bars are right for me, and I even like the mids - I am both an old and ex motocrosser and it is still habit to have my feet there. I may add removeablebags someday just to carry stuff on longer trips, but not for looks. Whoever earlier said Vivid Black is faster is 100% right too. Screamin Eagle ll's made it sound OK too.
