Well this blows....literally
just got back from a lil 200 mile morning ride. About 50 miles from home my Harley became a Honda. It aquired an exhaust leak from one cylinder and started making the most disgusting obnoxious blaap blaap blaap sound you ever never want your hog to make! I get home and find wind blowing around the rear cyclinder exhaust port where the pipe enters the head. I remove said Vance and Hines 2 into one Pro Pipe and realize the rear header pipe is barely in the head. Further inspection reviels the rear head pipe has little to no flange to secure the flange ring which stops the header flange ring from sliding off the end of the header pipe. I never realized this at installation but it don't seam right. Just venting a few before I start calling to get this straightened out!

The bolts were still tight. The retaining piece at the end of the head pipe came off allowing the pipe to slip out of the flange.Vance and Hines has GREAT service and through an immediate response online and an email with a couple pics and proof of purchase they are sending replacement!!! Did I mention I Love Vance and Hines???

just recently i noticed that one of the nuts holding the flange on my rear pipe came off so i tightened it back up. Well i guess that must've moved the gasket around a bit because I had an exhaust leak the next day. took off the pipe, replaced with a new crush gasket and it seems to be working fine now.
