Default Metal on Metal banging In front end

Looking for some help on an issue with my 07 fxdb. Whenever I hit I a bump I here a metal on metal knock in the front end. It hit's hard and doesn't sound good. Even at slow speeds under 10mh I here it. What are some things to look for?

Look to see if your brake pads are installed correctly, with the spring pushing down on them.
Also, do you have a fork brace?

No fork brace and they are brand new monitube fork inserts only 1500 miles. I'll check the brakes

I read in another post a while back that a bad front engine mount could move the front exhaust close to the frame. Try checking that clearance.

my $.02 good luck
