Sissy bar question

What fender you have shouldnt matter because the sissy bar side plates mount outside the fender struts the upper shock mounts to. .Its possible you may need to drill your fender and add some spacers.
I just reread your post. If you already have a sissy bar its just a matter of getting a taller one for your model. I prefere the medium low in my sig pic

I installed this sissy bar from Top Hand Adventures. Real nice people to deal with. The sissy bar is located between the strut and the fender.
If you notice I also relocated the tail lights and modified the license plate holder. I also fabricated some brackets so that I could install a Memphis Shades Gauntlet fairing. This required to change out the 7 in headlight to a 5 3/4 inch from a low rider.
