which 180/60B17 pirelli night dragon tire to get? theres two!
I see there is two different 180/60B17 night dragon tires! One is 81H rated and reinforced and the other is 75V rated and not reinforced and seems to be the cheaper of the two. I just don't know which is best for my needs. I'm a 190lbs. solo rider that loves twisty backroads if that helps.

Uhm, I think you have that backwards, the H rating(130) is less than the V rating(149).
I went through this same issue this spring.
The factory Dunlop is "V" rated speed @ 149 so I opted for the 180/60VB-17 to stay with the same rating..
I love the tire!!
the "V" tire;

the "H" tire;

Sorry, links don't work,, punch in 1773000 for the "H" and
2212100 for the "V" @ Dennis Kirk.
Kudo's to Dennis Kirk too, super fast shipping for a "new" tire,, not new-old stock.

Yeah alright, I had to dig into Pirelli's website to find it, it seems the REINFLT tire is made in a few different sizes.
I'm not going to argue with you or suggest which tire you use.
You are free to do your own research about tire ratings and load capacities for your bike.
Again, the factory tire is rated at "V",, you can choose the load category that suits your riding needs the best.
If your going to do a lot of heavy loads and need a higher rated reinforced tire then by all means get one.
FWIW; I weigh 230# and occasionally ride two up, when I do ride two up I adjust my tire pressure and shocks accordingly.

The letter codes such as V or H are the speed rating and have nothing to do with the weight rating while the B simply means bias ply. Your SB calls for a 73 load rating so the tire with the 75 weight rating is the correct tire. The 81 rating is for heavily loaded baggers with high GVWR's and is wasted on a much lighter Dyna - will also give a poorer ride.
