With stock suspension and forward controls, will the pipe scrape much before the peg?

I guess what I'm asking is, does the pipe definitely scrape before the peg? I scrape my pegs.

I got forwards, TH and the fat Bob. I guess I don't ride that aggressively. No issues here.

with normal riding I have had no issues, got into some real twisty road last year and was going faster than I should have been and rubbed the bottom of pipe right even with were the engine and trans come together, not bad but it scuff the bottom. you can;t see it unless you look for it.

Cool, thanks guys.

Does the TH use the newer metallic tapered exhaust gaskets or the SE metal mesh type? Need to know which type to pick up.

screaming eagle flat seal, I use the Novello copper crush seals they don't block the exhaust ports like most seals do. and haven't loosen up in 8000 miles.

That's interesting, I thought the whole point of the SE flat mesh seals were that they don't expand and block the gas flow like the old copper ones did.

I have found on three exhaust system I have had on my bike using the SE seals that some of the material pushed into port opening. which would cause some flow restriction. after trying the copper novello seals they worked the best. Fuelmoto uses a similar style on there rebuilds.
