well this guy offered a $100 if i could beat his Honda vtx 1800. Me budy fell out of his chair laughing. I said is that cash trying to keep a straight face. He said yea. Line it up. I crank my super glide. Then he asks what engine do you have. Oh, its not much, 113ci i say. He changed his mind. He leaves and hits it im right behind him. I nail at 20 mph, passed him before hitting second then when i get to 3rd he is around 6 or more bike legths behind me. I turned around and went back to listen to the lies. Lmao
these Honda vtx guys really have a attitude with Harley bikes.

 

Too bad the coward didn't at least try.
I hate to say it cause I'm Harley through and through, but if he'd tried he would have at least given ya a good run for the money.

113ci, 124.8 hp, 148 tq. Thats why i find it so funny. My buddy started the mess. He is good about starting something.

 

Yeah, I had to stomp on a doughebags VTX 1800 once, just to shut him up. I don't get the whole "rag it because it's a Harley" thing. Go ride your chrome plated plastic bike, and I'll ride my Harley.

 

When I first decided to get back into street bikes I wanted a Harley really bad. Had never had one but wanted that piece of American iron and nostalgia. The price was so high compared to a Honda though. I went to a Honda dealership with my wife, looked at a vtx. Thought wow, how do they get those primary covers so darn shiny? Sweet looking bike, good reputation with Honda.. Reached down, tapped it...wth? Plastic? Started finger tapping all over the bike. I swear it was 75 percent plastic. The dealer said..." Makes it way less expensive to repair when you drop it" my wife said...honey, get what you really want the first time out, don't settle and do this all over again...she was right of course...that was 3 Harley's ago..lol

 

Hell a good 95"er will put the woopin' on a VTX. Been there done that.

 

I like the Honda VTX 1800 and 1300 bikes. They are a good low cost to riding.
crap, I got one myself. They are pretty stout back in the day but that is old news.

It is put on display only no shows. Rolling war memorial.
It seems most has a beef with Harley Bikes and riders.
I have 2 honda's, vtx 1800 and goldwing trike, 3 HD's super glide prostreet 113, wide glide with ss106, and a new freewheeler.
I'm not basis as you can see

That is exactly the way I am. It doesn't matter lets ride.
come to Alabama and I will give you a tour of some good riding, deals gap 3 hours away, barber museum 2 hours away, mountain riding just come to the house we will start there.
I just don't like these biker brand attitudes unless its joking. I catch it from both ends, I am a H&H guy, Honda/ Harley
