I had 2:2 Python Throwback prior to putting on my current Supertrapp Supermeg 2:1 on. I never found the power lacking with the 2:2 although I certainly understand that 2:1 offers some performance diff I don't personally think the average person can feel the slight difference in power. Maybe they can in smoothness, I don't know. My challenge was volume hence my current pipe which I highly recommend given how tuneable it is for both performance and sound.

All that being said, I'm a staunch believer in getting what you feel looks (and sounds) best and suits you most since differences are noticeable mostly as a chart on a dyno sheet.

I like the 2-2 look better. I went with the big shots on my 2015

That's what the Big Shots are too, they have a "power chamber" the pipes come together like 2-1 then split again,, 2-1-2

Someone told me that the "power chamber" in pipes is a gimmick. Lol
The person that told me could be dead wrong though. Maybe someone with exhaust expertise would clear that up.
I bought a 2into2 system purely for looks and sound but I have to say 2-1 look is really growing on me and my next pipe will possibly go 2-1 route.

Why don't you switch to a quiet baffle before spending the extra $$ on a new Cobra? You can sell Your used Pro Pipe to a forum member very quickly if they are still too loud. Pro Pipes have a standout look in my opinion. They also have a unique tone.

I did grab the quiet core and it helped but to my ear it sounded tinny. I may sell then but probably won't get much, I'm a little aggressive in the corners and have quite a few road rash spots on the pipe. I am going to pull the quiet baffle and add some fiberglass. Online it show the baffle with glass but mine didn't have it. I'm hoping that helps as I do like the look.

If you want power get 2:1 hands down. I'm a true believer of the D&D brand.

For looks, 2:2 have many kinds of flavor that may suit your style (I personally like the looks of 2:1 better, but many prefer 2:2 for looks).

Many deciding on the types of mods need to foresee where they want the bike to be in the end.......if there is really an end. Otherwise you'll be switching parts later on in the game for something different and spending $$$$$ where you could have had the part for the get go.

Will it be show, go, or maybe both. It tough, but one advice I can give is don't go cheap, you'll spend more later.
