Default 60t bungking sprocket 24t front

Anyone running this chain conversion setup in their newer 6 speed dyna. About to make the purchase just wanted to see if anyone has any real world experience with the kit. I know our bikes are geared really tall. So I'm willing to compromise some top end for torque. And what rpms would I be spinning at 80mph ?

Thank you

that'll give you a final gear ratio of 3.38. That'll be a really drastic change from the stock 2.79 if thats what you're running now.

In 6th gear you'll be turning 3539 rpms at 80 mph with that setup.

What is the rpms at 80 with stock gearing? I usually run 80-90mph 75% of the time I'm also considering this conversion

I have 24/55. That's plenty of gear and it will hit the rev limiter quick in 1st and 2nd gear banzai runs.

For all around performance and the ability to stay at higher freeway speeds 25/55 chain setup would be my choice.

Best setup for all around chain to primary clearance also.

If you do 60T rear you can't use your chain (belt) guards, FYI.

24/60 is more of a lower speed "wheelie" gear setup, IMHO.

If that's what you want, do it.

Thanks for the reply LAMA read your thread on the conversion subject very informative... what I want is my bike to wheelie but still i still do 90% highway cruising but when i get into town with the boys i wanna be able to do some wheelies. The 24/55 setup that you have sounds like it will do the trick what do you think ? Just FYI my bike is a 15 fxdb with stage 1

I like it just fine. Most of my riding are on two lane back roads and that's usually 3rd or 4th gear for me.
I don't do a lot of highway riding, and when I do get into 6th gear the rpms are around 2500 to 2700. Most of the speed limits are 55, so I keep it around 65 or so.
Having the TMax let me calibrate the speedo to make up the for the difference in final drive ratio and a small change in the rear tire height over the stocker.
